Ken & Valoy Cox established the home in 1974 across the street from Ken's parents home and farm. Ken & Valoy were married for 59 years and left a legacy of hospitality, family togetherness and love. Valoy was the United States Postmaster in Castle Dale and Ferron and would, on occasion, bring people home who needed a place to stay. Their home was open to family and friends any day of the week! In honor of their legacy, we have mingled the old with the new. You will still see plenty of country among the amenities of modern convenience and comfort. Our goal for creating Cox Lodging is to help bring family and friends together so they can create memories that will last a lifetime as our family has.
